I don’t use the 18-55mm lens but it’s here in case something happens to the 17-85 I guess, the optical quality between the two is about the same sadly, leaving me wanting better glass. The 50mm Prime is about the cheapest lens you can buy but it has really good optics. One day I’d like a Speedlite 430ex, maybe the EF-S 60mm Macro and a Battery Grip…but that’s close to another ,000 right there.

Not pictured is my Lowepro Slingshot 100 bag…it holds everything really well and feels like it’ll outlast any of the camera gear inside it, plus it has a weatherproof cover in case you’re caught in the rain or something. I cut off the extra waist strap though because there was no place to stow it and I never used it.
